Healx’s mission is to identify, develop and advance treatments for patients with rare diseases. Our current RTA programme (v2.0) is focused on working with groups who have promising repurposing assets for rare diseases. If you have an appropriate repurposing asset, please submit an eligibility questionnaire here.  If you do not have a repurposing asset, we are open to working with groups to identify rare diseases that might benefit from our AI-driven approach and then develop and accelerate treatments towards the clinic.

The above diagram highlights the key milestones of a partnership, from selecting a disease before the project starts, to using our AI drug discovery platform, Healnet, to uncover new drug-disease predictions, then to in vitro and in vivo validation, and on to clinical trial planning. To ensure that we have the potential to reach each of these milestones, we need to know that critical information exists and is available before we start any project. This includes access to, and understanding of:

  • transcriptomic and other disease specific data from humans and animals
  • the natural history and progression of the disease
  • relevant in vivo and in vitro models
  • measurable clinical endpoints and/or biomarker.

Having all of this knowledge upfront gives us the best possible chance to find novel therapies and take them towards patient clinical trials within 24 months.

If you are interested in working with us, please fill in the following questionnaire. Your responses will help the team at Healx better understand your disease of interest, and will determine if the necessary information is currently available. If it is, we will reach out to you with next steps. If it is not, we will provide you with resources that can help your group to decide whether, and how, to secure the information needed for this type of industry partnership. At this stage, please only share non-confidential data.

This questionnaire will take around 20-30 minutes to complete, and you may need to ask the scientists and clinicians you work with for some of the information. Your responses will be auto-saved as you go, so you do not need to complete the form in one sitting. We suggest that you manually save on a regular basis, just in case, using the button at the bottom of each screen.  If you have any questions, please email us at accelerate@healx.io.

This process is similar to the RTA 1.0 programme we ran last year, so please watch the RTA webinar and review the relevant FAQs before starting your application.

We use Submittable to accept and review our submissions.
